Widths, heights, sections and gauges are typical guides. Your opening, pillar strength, gate weight and local conditions decide what is safe and practical. Confirm the design, sizes and price in writing with your fabricator before work starts.

Gates are heavy moving structures. Pillars, hinges, wheels, stoppers and any motor or wiring must be designed and fitted by qualified people. Our advice is general and does not replace an on-site professional.
